Nausea is a feeling of uneasiness in the stomach that often accompanies the urge to vomit, but doesn't always lead to vomiting. Vomiting is the forcible voluntary or involuntary emptying of stomach contents through the mouth. Both nausea and vomiting are not diseases, but rather are symptoms of different conditions.

Causes of Nausea & Sickness include:

• Heartburn - This can create a burning sensation that causes nausea
• Infection - Bateria/viruses can affect the stomach which can lead to nausea and sickness
• Motion sickness - Travelling by car, boat, plane, or train may cause nausea, dizziness, or vomiting
• Diet - Overeating can upset the stomach and cause nausea or sickness
